Can I smoke in the hotel?
Our hotels are non-smoking. Smoking is therefore not allowed. In case of violation of smoking regulations, a cleaning fee of €100 will be charged.
Is there a night porter in the hotel?
No, the reception is not staffed at night. Your room key gives you access to the hotel at night. In emergency situations, a person in charge is available by phone and will help you.
Is there an iron and ironing board in the room?
An ironing board and iron are not standard in our hotel rooms. You can get an iron and ironing board at reception.
Is there laundry service at the hotel?
Hobbit Hotels offers you, as an extra service and for a fee, the possibility to have your clothes cleaned. At the reception you can ask for a laundry bag and fill in an accompanying form. If you drop off your laundry at the reception before 9 a.m. it will be returned cleaned the same day. This service is not available on weekends and public holidays.
Can I leave my car at the hotel during my trip?
No, you may not. As a guest of our hotels, you may only use the free parking facilities during your stay at the hotel.
Are you going traveling and do you want to leave your car for a longer period of time? Then book your overnight stay at Hobbit Hotel Zaventem. At this hotel you can use our Sleep, Park & Fly package with which you can leave your car at the hotel during your absence for a maximum of 3 weeks.
Is baby equipment available at the hotel?
Yes. A high chair, a bottle warmer, a changing mat and a baby monitor are available at reception.
Can I get an extra blanket?
In each room, an extra blanket is available in the cupboard. If necessary, you can ask for an additional blanket at reception.
What is the Sleep, Park & Fly package?
Are you travelling and want to park your car at the hotel for a longer period of time? Then book the Sleep, Park & Fly package at Hobbit Hotel Zaventem. When you book this package, you can leave your car at the hotel for a maximum of 21 days, even if you are not staying at the hotel during this period.
Are the hotel rooms adapted to people with disabilities?
Both Hobbit Hotel Mechelen and Hobbit Hotel Zaventem have a room with adapted facilities. Please contact the hotel reception directly to book this room.
Why does the price of a room suddenly become more expensive/cheaper?
Hobbit Hotels applies rates that fluctuate daily based on supply and demand. The rates are based on various factors, including room availability and events in the vicinity of the hotel. As a result, it is possible for the room rate to suddenly become either more expensive or cheaper.
